What's in the course?

This inspirational one-day course for hobby photographers and beginners is co-hosted with Take Better Travel Photos magazine, and led by the editors of Take Better Travel Photos and Outdoor Photography magazines.

The course will give you feedback on your pictures and take you through the basic fundamentals of travel photography – from taking control of your camera to a solid foundation in getting your exposures spot-on and seeing powerful compositions.

You will discover some easy to remember methods for making sure you get travel photos to be proud of, learn some foolproof ways to approach people on your travels for portrait pictures, and find out how to see powerful landscape photos within a grand vista.

Weather permitting, the course allows time for an informal shoot. It also offers detailed and supportive feedback on your work, which you are encouraged to bring along for comment.

Sessions are extensively illustrated with clear and insightful presentations featuring inspiring imagery, and are designed to engender an informative and encouraging atmosphere.
