"I feel incredibly inspired. Things I thought may never be reachable, may actually be reachable now." – Amanda

DEVELOP a book-length project, whether personal or for publication.

DEEPEN your skills and concepts to new levels.

SHARE the experience of two successful experts.

TRANSFORM your work and aspirations.

What's in the course?

This unique three-day course in London is an inspiring exploration of the big photographic project – the extended suite of pictures suitable for publication as a large-format book or an exhibition. Such work can be personal, prolonged, the result of a profound insight or a burning interest. It can take you to the highest levels of photographic achievement and commercial success.

Wihtin that framework, the masterclass leads you through the higher ranges of creative and technical skills. It begins by looking at how to create top-quality travel shots, then expands on the challenges of generating project concepts and selling them to publishers. Through practical seminars, insider information and commercial advice, you will experience three days of learning in depth to transform your skills and understanding.

The course is taught by two top professionals, together offering the inside track on the commercial and creative issues involved in pursuing travel book projects. Seminars are extensively illustrated with examples of good shots and explanations of what makes them work and sell.

Key content includes technical issues, composition and editing, creating concepts and bringing them to life, making pictures tell stories, and approaching book publishers. Realistic feedback on your work is supported by sessions on advanced creative tricks and current trends. Weather permitting, there is a location shoot to illustrate key principles.
