It's easy to do, with our range of three stylishly produced Gift Tokens.
Cash Token
An affordable and flexible option. Simply choose how much you would like to spend and we’ll send you a Token to that value. The recipient can choose any course they like, and add payments for any extra course fees.
Tokens can be ordered in values of £10, starting at £30. Just email us to say what you’d like, and we will organise online payment and the gift itself.
Course Token
Choose a whole course or event that you’d like to give, order it from us, and we’ll send the Token straight to you. The recipient can then register themself at their own convenience.
This only costs you the standard price of the course: there are no additional charges. To order, please email us.
Gift Pack
This is a goody bag designed to inspire. You can select either a Value Token or a Course Token, and we will send it to you in a smart presentation package – and into the Pack we will add two extra gifts, designed as a little taster of the course.
These will be a mini-Moleskin notebook (the distinctive notebook of Hemingway and Chatwin) and a pack of beautiful travel postcards by award-winning photographer Paul Harris, tutor on many of our courses.
The extra charge for this delightful pack is £7, including postage.

Token terms and conditions
Value Tokens can be redeemed by the recipient using any relevant discounts, such as the Early Booking Discount. Course Tokens can be bought using any relevant discounts, provided they are for a course with a specified date, and they must be bought and/or the course must be booked within the timeframe relevant to that offer. If in doubt, please email us to enquire. Course Tokens must be redeemed within one calendar year, because prices change. After that they will be treated as Value Tokens for the amount paid, and recipients may need to top up the sum involved in order to qualify for that course. Course Tokens may be transferred to other courses of the same value if there is space available. This will be permitted entirely at our discretion, and no cash refund will apply. Tokens are not redeemable for cash. Tokens are not transferable from the recipient named when the order is placed. By buying a Gift Token you are agreeing to abide by our general terms and conditions, and by redeeming it your recipient is also agreeing to them.
